Project Pioneer introduces teams of students 9-14 years old to various career pathways including creative, production, sales, marketing, finance and administration as they launch events and products.

Modules

Project Pioneer offers four engaging 12-chapter modules that provide instructor-facing curriculum and teacher notes. Options include launching a carnival, creating a haunted house, making a movie or designing a classroom cookbook. All modules are designed to empower youth voice and choice by letting the students take ownership of each step of the process and explore their curiosity and creativity along the way.

Learning Outcomes

IMPACT AND ENGAGEMENT

These outcomes focus on the overall impact that the project will have on the students’ learning and development, as well as their engagement and interest in the project. Some examples of impact and engagement outcomes include authentic engagement, peer bonding, interest expansion, growth challenges, goal management, and power sharing.

STE(A)M

These outcomes focus on developing students’ skills and knowledge in science, technology, engineering, (arts), and math. These outcomes aim to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity skills that are essential for success in these fields. 21st CCLC

These outcomes focus on developing students’ skills related to project management, including teamwork, money management, time management, communication, creativity, and career exploration. These skills are essential for success in any project-based learning.

The Project Pioneer package is turnkey, equipped with comprehensive Lesson Plans and Teacher Notes. It’s meticulously designed to free educators from the back-end work, granting them and their students the autonomy to lead and innovate. Within this framework, students step into roles of responsibility, nurturing a sense of ownership and active participation as they navigate through the project.
